A film showing the Royal Oak Darts group on an outing to Windsor via Maidenhead, by coach and boat (continues on TID: 6403 and 6410)
A sign on the Royal Oak pub door advertises a club outing to Windsor via Maidenhead on 29th June as a man waters the hanging plant baskets outside the pub. In the street a group of men behave in a mischievous manner next to the Southdown coach, writing in chalk on the coach tyres, before departing on their journey.
The next scene shows the group at a rest stop, drinking Friary beer, playing a game of short cricket in a woodland and behaving in a mischievous manner next to the Southdown coach.
After a second rest stop in an urban street, the men re-board the coach having purchased tennis rackets (?). The group show them off to the camera. The scene cuts to a compilation of views from a boat on a river or canal, passing several houses and other water traffic (possibly on the River Thames or a tributary near Maidenhead?).
