A short film touring the Isle of Wight steam railway on a sunny day in August 1981. The trip begins at Haven Station as passengers wait to board the former Southern engine now no.24 ''Calbourne''.

A short trip aboard the engine, begins at Haven Station, headquarters of the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, as passengers wait to board the former Southern locomotive now no.24 ''Calbourne''. The engine's Fireman shovels coal into the coal bunker before leaving for Wootton. A series of rural views follow from aboard the train, before the engine detaches from its rolling stock to shunt to the opposite end of the train, to return to Haven Street. Later the engine alone is seen shunting along the track in and out of Haven Street station.
