A travelogue film detailing a trip to Russia, with scenes in Saint Petersburg (formerly Leningrad) and in Moscow. The film also shows a visit to Sochi [not included in online clip].


[Included online] The film begins with views of Saint Petersburg and its many historic landmarks, including: the Peter and Paul Fortress; the Heritage Museum; the Old Stock Exchange; the Russian Cruiser Aurora; Palace Square and the Winter Palace; the Grand Cascade at Peterhof; the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ; and the Kazan Cathedral.

This is followed by scenes in Moscow, showing: the buildings at Red Square (Basilica, Kremin, State Museum); various displays at the Cosmos Pavilion; and aerospace exhibitions at the VDNKh (Russian: vystavka dostizheniy narodnogo khozyaystva; Exhibition of Achievements of the People's Economy - between 1992-2014 known as the All Russia Exhibition Centre).

[Not shown in online clip] The film concludes with views of Sochi, showing mixed scenes of beaches, gardens and city streets. This is followed by a tour of the Krasnodarsky Tea Plantation at Solokhaul.
