This two part intertitled film shows the celebration of a silver wedding anniversary event at The Sir Robert Peel pub in Chatham, Kent with various scenes of dancing, guests mingling and an older couple cutting a cake. This is followed by scenes from a wedding, at St. Paul's church in Maidstone (the old Church on Fisher Street), with shots of the wedding party outside the church, and in a domestic interior, celebrating with drinks and opening cards and presents.

The film shows couples dancing, mixed with people sitting, chatting and eating. Some do The Twist, with close-ups on legs. The film shows the couple cutting the cake along with various guests chatting and mingling. The band includes a lady playing the accordion.
