Summary

Produced by a New Zealand couple and donated to the citizens of Fernhurst, this colour film records an historical pageant put on by the village to celebrate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. There is a parade of queens from Mary Tudor to Queen Victoria, accompanied by Prime Minister Disraeli. This is followed by a parade of people in culturally stereotyped 'national' costumes (including some who have blacked-up) representing nations of the Commonwealth.
