This short black and white film opens with an extended family gathering at Austin Reed's home in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. The group play together in the large garden. The final film provides highlights of a visit to the house by a group of US army/armed forces men. The men parade in the garden and take the family for a ride in their military 4x4 vehicle.

This black and white family film features an extended Reed family playing games and socialising together in the garden of Austin Reed's house in Gerrards Cross. The next scene opens with mixed portrait shots of Mrs Reed standing with a group of US GI army men in the garden. Then men in full uniform demonstrate a drill and parade exercise, smiling and laughing at the camera throughout. Shots of family members follow.

The final film features the family all attempting to get into an open topped US military jeep or 4x4 vehicle (Willy's MB type?), driven by a man in a US army/armed forces uniform (Registration: [S]-9WEA23 ?). The vehicle drives towards the camera with all the children onboard.
