This travelogue style film shows the family visiting the Channel Islands of Guernsey and Herm on holiday.
Titles: "An Invitation to Guernsey; Fourteen bays for fourteen days, everyday a different bay" is written in a magazine. The film shows the family visiting the Channel Islands of Guernsey and Herm. The group fly to Guernsey (from Gatwick ?) and visit the Battle of the Flowers (part of the North Show at Saumarez Park) with a children's fancy dress parade. They visit the Little Chapel decorated with pieces of pottery and shell at St Peter Port; ride jet skis in the harbour boating pool; and go Go-Karting around a track. The family also visit several beaches, Castle Cornet and tour the island's coastline by car.
Intertitle: ''Herm''. The family make a brief visit to the island of Herm landing at the Rosaire Steps. They visit Shell Beach and The Common at Robert's Cross, stopping to capture views of the Island shop, adjacent to the Harbour.
The family leave Guernsey via boat at St Peter Port, with views of the harbour and coastline, as the ship passes out into the English channel.
