Description

A compilation of film showing Susan's childhood from a baby to a young girl playing in a domestic garden and on several outings and family gatherings.

The film opens with shots of a car pulling up at in the driveway of a house, as the family group climb out. The family enter a residential house, and play together in a garden with a watering can and garden tools in a flower bed. As a toddler, Susan plays a game with a ball with a group of older women, and runs around the garden. Slightly older, the group also visit a fairground swing ride, take an outing to the shops and visit a beach. Later aged around 4 years old, dressed in a flowery dress and sunglasses takes a walk in the countryside, explores a domestic garden and visits a beach to build sandcastles.

Intertitle: Susan and Christine Two girls playing on a swing set in a park being pushed by two women, visiting a children's train style railway ride and attending a christening or family gathering with other formally dressed family members. Susan dances for the camera, dressed in an oversized sun hat and gloves in a garden.
