A film promoting Hastings as a holiday destination showing holidaymakers arriving at the town by rail, plane, car and boat. There are scenes of the beach and attractions on the sea front. There are positive comments from holidaymakers and scenes of water-skiing, fishing, a carnival parade, a Town Crier's competition, a model village, and Hastings castle.

There are surrounding sights such as Pevensey castle, Battle Abbey, Bodium Castle and Kipling's house 'Bateman's'. Other attractions and activities include: visiting caves and a pottery, eating fish & chips, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, boating, a steam train, bingo, games of bowls on various bowling greens and dancing.
