Cricket scenes of Surrey against Australia at the Oval [possibly their match from 1938]. Opening scenes show with the Archbishop Tennison's Grammar School building in the background while a crowd of onlookers stand and watch batting practice. The players are filmed coming out onto the pitch and the match begins. Rain stops play during the match but then resumes. An intertitle then reads Surrey v Australia 1934 the cricketers walk onto the ground watched by the crowd.

An intertitle reads: Wimbledon 1934. The film shows a women's singles tennis match on Wimbledon's Centre Court followed by a fourth round men's singles match. Queen Mary can be glimpsed in the Royal Box. Later, on Court Number 2, there is a First Round Mixed Doubles match in progress (David Jones & Helen Dyson vs. Vernon Kirby & Mary Heeley) before returning to Centre Court and Frank Shields' victory against Christian Boussus in the Fourth Round. This is followed by a men's doubles match with unidentified players.
