Summary

The Woolsey family holiday in Scotland. Ian Woolsey, the son of the film-maker, skips through the family garden wearing a harlequin costume. They visit the beach at Nairn on the Moray Firth with friends, where they build sandcastles and play cricket, and picnic at Loch Ness. River, countryside and road views follow, as they journey from Loch Ness to the Kyle of Lochalsh up the A87, and to Inverness along the A890, past railway lines and beaches. Views of Inverness Castle close the film.
