A short home movie featuring the Colgate family. Children perform a school nativity play and also enjoy a day out walking in the countryside at Bodiam, East Sussex.


The film opens with dark and grainy shots of children performing a school nativity play. Some of the children are dressed in costumes, as angels and the wise men. Stage scenery can just be seen behind the children. [Break] Shots of sheep grazing in a field at Bodiam. Children walking in the field, accompanied by an adult. Shots of the children, dressed in winter coats, playing in a large puddle. A spaniel dog joins the group. The film ends with dark shots of the children getting into a car which is parked nearby.
