A short amateur film featuring the involvement of anti litter campaigners in a carnival procession in Hove. Campaigners are seen with placards and on a float in the procession. The film-maker captures on camera the litter left behind once the crowds watching the procession have gone.

The film opens with shots of anti litter campaigners, holding placards with messages about littering. Close-up of T-shirts bearing the message: "Litter: ugly, dirty and illegal". Shots of the mayor and other dignitaries standing on a podium. A large crowd is gathered on Kingsway and Grand Avenue to watch a parade. Shots of a marching band and decorated floats passing along the road. The film ends with shots of the crowd walking off after the procession and close-ups of litter on the road and pavements.
