An amateur film documenting the fully operational Terwick Water Mill on the River Rother in West Sussex.

The film opens with various exterior shots of the mill house, the waterwheel, the river and the surrounding countryside. The sacks of corn are hoisted up through the mill house on a pulley system. The mill owner, Mr Ayling, displays his tools to the camera before being filmed making and mending the grinding stones. His young family also inhabit the space.
