Description

A title reads 'Member of the Institute of Incorporated Amateur Cinematographers Ldt., IAC'. Men play cricket on a rough patch of grass. They tumble over one another and fielders scramble chaotically to find the ball. A woman in workday clothes walks purposefully into a garden. A kitten plays on the grass. Crowds wait on a railway platform. Family members enjoy a picnic under a tree. Footage shot from a swing merry-go-round, fair and fireworks display, where sparks read 'Good Night', follow. A woman walks through a field carrying a picnic basket. Wedding / Marriage scenes follow; a young woman wears a full length satin dress and stands with her new husband before climbing into a motorcar. Riverside views follow. Three young women walk on a side street in adjacent to Oxford Street in London. Members of the Stock Exchange Swimming Club dive into the River Thames in Middlesex and swim through the water on their annual social occasion. A group of young men push a large inflatable ball, which reads 'Daily Mail', around a field. Pool scenes follow; a young man pushes a young woman under the water. Others splash and swim, dive and play, in the outdoor pool. Family members picnic and walk in the countryside. Burnt House Farm in Essex, a Bed and Breakfast, is shown in panning footage. Family members take a countryside walks and play golf on a course. Footage shot from a train as it moves along the platform follows.
