Summary

A compilation of scenes filmed at the beach at Selsey featuring boys in Kayaks, the launch of a lifeboat at Selsey. Other scenes of activity at the beach include young men in small motor boats, a sailing boat and a Kayak, people outside a beach house and women looking at a sundial in a garden.

Description

This film begins with guests staying at Arcadia, kayaking, followed by the launch of Selsey's latest lifeboat from the Selsey station slipway with the crowds watching from the shore. The dedication service, witnessed by local dignitaries, comes before the 'Canadian Pacific 2' slides away from the lifeboat station and splashes into the sea. She does a few passes for the crowds. The film then returns to the guests at Arcadia. Further scenes show kayaks, launches, sailboats as well as a rowing boat with the local harbour master.
