Description

"Petard"

Music plays. A woman stands at a kitchen sink washing up. Her husband stands next to her, lights his pipe, picks up his darts and leaves the house on his bicycle. The woman gets ready to go out, washes, changes and puts on a wig. A man driving a car collects her from the house. Her husband cycles to some woods where he hides. The man and woman drive along a country lane and pull over near the same woods. They get out of the car and walk into the woods together. The woman's husband unwraps a wrench and tampers with the engine of the parked car. His wife and the other man kiss in the woods. The man cycles off and arrives at the Tiger Inn, East Dean where he drinks and talks to friends, before leaving on his bike. His wife and the other man leave the woods and set off in the car. On route, they collide with a cyclist. The couple get out of the car and turn the man on to his back and are visibly shocked to discover that he is the woman's husband. Title: "The End". End credits.
