Various scenes of people and farm animals at a farm; people gathering for photographs after a wedding and the couple leaving for their honeymoon; ‘Grandma leaving Worthing’ - an elderly lady leaving home and getting into a car; and scenes at Hastings’ outdoor pool and diving from the high boards.

This amateur film from the mid 1930s titled ‘Hudsons Farm’ starts with several scenes on the farm where men and women are seen standing amongst a herd of cows, and other farm animals including chicks, a dog and a bull taken out of the shed to show to the camera. Some scenes of a woman wearing a summer dress with at hat and gloves are followed by a house boat and scenes of rowing on a river. Scenes of a day trip and picnic in Dorking begin with a car journey filmed from the moving car, then people take photographs of a dog, a picnic follows with shots of the cars, people with cricket bats and going for a walk with dogs. The group of people wearing summer clothes pose for the camera in the countryside, and stand around the cars. Back at Hudsons farm, at Easter time, there are shots of chickens and horses by a pond, chickens feeding, a man and a dog, women walking carrying a milk jar, a woman playing with a ferret, and a cat being fed.

The next section is titled ‘Ralph and Freda’s Wedding 18/04/1936’ shows the couple and their family members posing for the camera in the garden. The married couple are then seen leaving for their honeymoon, getting in to a car followed by shots of a train pulling away from a station.

A section titled ‘Grandma Leaving Worthing’ shows an elderly woman accompanied by two other ladies outside a house then getting into a car. The final item on the film shows scenes at the large outdoor swimming pool at Hastings which had opened in 1933. There are shots of men diving into the pool from the high diving boards, people on a pool slide, girls skipping with ropes followed by more diving scenes.
