Footage shows West Street in Brighton lit up for night visitors to the cinema and other attractions, and views of East and West Brighton from the Palace Pier, filmed by Mr. Harrison, a member of Brighton Cine Club in the 1960s.

During night scenes shot from a moving vehicle, the cinemas and bright lights of West Street in Brighton are seen. Headlights move along the roads and advertisements shine in the darkness. The camera passes the Embassy Cinema. In daytime views of Brighton, seen from the Palace Pier, the camera pans across the sea front of East Brighton to Black Rock before Brighton Marina was built in the early 1970s. In further views, the camera pans across West Brighton and Hove towards Shoreham. Embassy Court, designed by Wells Coates, is seen in the distance and the West Pier stretches out into the sea. Seagulls hover over the water. Golf course scenes close the film, during which a man swings his golf club and puts on the green. The ball slides neatly into the hole, as seen from ground level, ending the film.
