Soldiers participate in a Memorial Service for the men of the 1st Battalion of the Queens Royal Surrey Regiment at a war memorial in Myanmar (formerly Burma).
A war memorial dedicated to the men and officers of the 1st Battalion of the Queens Royal Regiment is unveiled on a barren Burmese hillside in 1944. A vicar leads a service of remembrance before individual soldiers march past the memorial, stopping in silence to salute as they do so.
