A variety of subjects filmed by architect Joseph Emberton including a trip to the Netherlands to look at architecture and Lacrosse matches at Roedean.

The film covers a trip to The Netherlands with the Architectural Association. The filming focuses on a modernist building and its architectural details, especially the tower.

In further segments of the film, there are scenes at a girls Lacrosse match in windy weather at Roedean School near Brighton, Joseph Emberton's daughter Jocelyn is a referee. Family members, including wife Kathleen and teenage daughters Jocelyn and Gillian, are filmed standing amongst a group of girls and women, watching horse riders, possibly at the start of a fox hunt (?). Some shots of a wide sandy beach and a harbour are followed by another film of a Lacrosse match at Roedean school, this time it is the 1951 UK vs USA match. Kathleen, Gillian and Jocelyn are watching.
