Jubilee celebrations at Farncombe, Windsor and Godalming feature in this amateur film, accompanied by an intermittent soundtrack. At Farncombe, the parade moves along a residential street; at Windsor Great Park, large crowds are gathered to watch the parade; and at Godalming the town centre is decorated with bunting as the parade is seen marching through the streets.
Opening title: "1977 The Queen's Silver Jubilee". The film opens with extensive shots of local organisations parading along a residential street in Farncombe, some march on foot and others ride on decorated floats. The film moves to Windsor and features another parade at Windsor Great Park; the parade marches down the Long Walk. There are close-ups of uniformed organisations such as the Boys and Girls Brigades and Scouts. Large crowds of spectators are gathered and applaud as the floats pass by; people carrying collecting buckets collect donations from spectators. Windsor Castle can be seen in the distance. Shots of a street in Windsor town centre; traffic sits in a queue and people walk along streets which have been closed off to traffic. The film concludes in Godalming town centre where crowds line the streets near the The Market Hall to watch a parade; the streets are decorated with bunting. Closing title: "1977 The Queen's Silver Jubilee, The End". [The film is accompanied by an intermittent music soundtrack]
