The Guinea Pig Club annual reunions held in 1960, 1961 and 1962 for wartime patients of the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, who had received reconstructive plastic surgery. At the garden parties, held at the Feldbridge Hotel, men and women stand chatting and drinking around a swimming pool. A bed is raffled off and two men jump in to the pool fully clothed.
