Summary

Amateur film of visits to four of Kent's finest stately homes and gardens: Hever castle, Leeds castle, Groombridge Place gardens, Penshurst Place gardens.

Description

The film begins at Hever Castle where visitors wander about the gardens. We see nice views of the house as well as the adjacent 'Tudor' village and the classical buildings and sculptures in the famous 'Italian Garden'. Leeds Castle is next where we see the large lake that forms a moat around the house and birds and flowers in the gardens. The gardens at Groombridge Place are the next location before ending at Penshurst Place where we see roses, fountains and sculptures.
