Scenes from the Thanet Air Race Cup, and crowds gathering at Mote Park in Maidstone to see the “Kent Messenger” Ford car presented to Mr W.H. Frost by the Mayor. Item 1 – Pilot Sir Alan Cobham is seen preparing for his flight in a Shorts Bristol Seaplane to the Belgian Congo. People are seen boarding the plane and the motors running as the plane prepares for take off. Item 2 – At the Thanet Air Race Cup a helicopter and small aircraft are seen in the air. Captain Kennington, whose Puss Moth plane averaged 128 miles per hour, is presented with the cup. Item 3 - At Mote Park in Maidstone a crowd gathers to see the “Kent Messenger” Ford car presented to Mr W.H. Frost by the Mayor. Mr Frost is seen behind the wheel of the car and driving through town.
