A military band parade followed by floats for Ditchling Fayre. In Brighton's Stanmer park there is a "Top Town Day" event where there are games, activities and sporting competitions, including: a sack race, and a game involving smashing a piano.

A fete with a band and floats, a merry-go-round and a 'Soak the Vicar' stand takes place at Ditchling Fayre. In Brighton's Stanmer Park, a "Top Town" day is held. Activities and competitions include a goal keeper trying to prevent goals whilst standing on moving sheet; a sack race; a flower bomb game; a tug of war; and smashing a piano then feeding the pieces through a small hole. The team from Burgess Hill town appear to be doing well in this game.
