A compilation of archive footage on the subject of the West Sussex town of Bognor Regis coupled with memories captured by Screen Archive South East from residents of the town during an oral history and reminiscence project in 2013.

The film compilation includes the voice of Joyce Wastell as she recalls the busy crowds of daytrippers arriving in the summer. Archive film shows 1920s daytrippers arriving at the train station and by charabanc. Kathleen Tidbury and Sheila talk about the regular Bognor Hospital Fete and archive footage shows scenes of games and activities at the fete in the 1930s. Kathleen Tidbury then recalls seaside activities in Bognor such as, 'coin-in-the-slot machines', cups of tea on the beach and donkey rides. Scenes of the beach and of Kathleen's sister taking a donkey ride on the beach illustrate her recollections.
