A film in three parts, which includes a family wedding, children at play, a family hike on the South Downs and through farmland.

The first part of this film shows a family wedding at Bishopstone: opening with the bride and and her mother and father in the garden; shots of the wedding party arriving including bridesmaids and groomsmen; ending with the bride arriving with her father. This is followed by various scenes of children at play, digging a plot in the garden, playing with a toy wheelbarrow and riding bicycles. This is followed by shots of a rough, stormy sea. The film then shows scenes of the family walking in the South Downs, stopping for group portraits and running down a hill. A farmer is shown walking with a cart pulled by two horses, and the family walk through farmland and away from the camera down a rural road.
