This film shows scenes of a Ladycross School rugby match, with scenes of family life at home, at the beach, and at the races.

The film begins with scenes of a Ladycross rugby match (with a brief slow motion shot), this is interrupted by some short shots of what appears to be an aerial view of celebrations in London with royal guards on horseback (changing of the guards?), before continuing with further rugby scenes, this time showing a different match. This is followed by some scenes of family life with the children playing in their garden. The next scene shows the Derby races, with scenes of the crowd, bookies and vendors. Later, a person is carried off on a stretcher, after which are scenes of an accordion player and women dancing. Further scenes of family life in the garden follow, together with scenes of the children swimming at the beach. Returning to the garden, the children play cricket, and the family practice fitting gas masks. This is followed by scenes of a picnic lunch in the garden. Further shots of the family swimming at the beach close the film.
