Beach Snapshots showing scenes of the Brighton Swimming Club from the Roger Dunford 16mm film collection with added soundtrack and interviews from members of the swimming club; including some oral history extracts and photographs. This was part of a project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund in 2011.
Roger Bernard Dunford bought his 16mm cine camera from the Co-Op on London Road, Brighton for £25, as a treat for himself on his 21st birthday.
A specially recorded soundtrack was made for this video compilation by Sam Lippett, Harvey Herman and Ed Cheverton from the University of Brighton and Brighton Swimming Club member Bella Kardasis.
