This collection dating from the late 1950s to mid 1970s features the family of Bob Burns enjoying several family holidays to a series of Butlin's Holiday camps that includes Wick Ferry, Skegness, Minehead, Clacton-on-Sea and the Warners Woodside Bay camp on the Isle of Wight. Other holidays include a visit to The Tropicana, a former lido in Weston-super-Mare and a holiday to the Baleric Island of Mallorca.

Closer to home, Burns captured outings by the Darts club from a local pub, the Royal Oak. The group regularly took a Southdown coach to Maidenhead, to take trips on the river towards Windsor, Reading and later the Isle of Wight.
The films also show highlights of Bognor Carnival, a Pram race for Rag Week, a series of weddings at North Bersted Parish Church, and family gatherings featuring the Burns' children, at a South Bersted Cricket Match, playing in a domestic garden and with friends and family at Christmas time.
