This collection of films from the 1960s to 1980s follows Wilfred Green's family and friends in a series of travelogues on annual trips to Eastern European countries that includes several visits to Poland and to SFR Yugoslavia (now: Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovinia, Montenegro). They also visited Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Russia, and Czechoslovakia (now: Czech Republic & Slovakia). Events of note include: the Third National Spartakiade held at the Strahov Stadium and the parade in Wenceslas Square in Prague; a visit to the Red Square (Basilica, Kremlin, State Museum); various displays at the Cosmos Pavilion; and aerospace exhibitions at the VDNKh metro station in, Moscow. The collection also includes several trips made by the group to Belgium, to visit military war graves and cemeteries.

Alongside the travel films, the collection includes family visits, celebrations, holidays and outings in and around their home towns of Maidstone and Aylesbury, Kent. Wider trips include castles, stately homes, gardens and seaside resorts across the Home Counties and South West coast of England.
