This collection by amateur film-maker John Midderigh include a selection of vivid travelogue style documentaries filmed on location in Africa, Italy and Yugoslavia. The films document the film-maker's travels and his local surroundings, though a 'Supermidavision' or CinemaScope Anamorphic aspect ratio (2.66:1), on Kodachrome II colour reversal stock at 16 FPS. Mr Midderigh experimented with the format and aspect ratio to best capture the beauty of the natural and built environment to the full.
