Description
The Lucas family were the wealthy owners of the Warnham Court estate in Horsham, West Sussex. The films show various activities on the estate in the 1920s including a large shooting party attending a pheasant and rabbit shoot, bee keepers demonstrating how they manage the hives, a grand family wedding with the locals gathering in the street to celebrate the event and portraits of the family with their new baby on show.

This black and white family film shows a group of men playing golf on the Warnham Court estate, followed by highlights of Tennis (doubles) and a cricket match. The family watch from the terrace next to the house. The final film with intertitles shows a beekeeping film, demonstrating how to create an artificial hive. Two men use their bare hands to handle the bees.

In portrait a grandmother or a nanny [?] stand at the main door with a domestic nurse as both turn and enter the house. These scenes also feature at the end of Joe and Biddy Lucas's wedding film on TID 4902.
