A collection of post-war films by Mr Gladstone E. Moore from the Three Bridges and Crawley area of West Sussex, made between 1947 and 1970. Highlights include Church outings to Littlehampton and welcoming HM Queen Elizabeth II and several dignitaries to open new buildings and housing estates in Crawley.

Mr Gladstone E. Moore was a fellow of the Incorporated Society of Auctioneers and Landed Property (ISALPA), he was also a Baptist Minister, Deacon and Superintendent for several Churches in the Crawley district. Mr Moore documented many local parish milestones from weddings and Sunday School outings, through to the major redevelopment and expansion of central Crawley and its environs following the 1946 New Town Act. A series of films show the building of a new town Shopping Centre, Housing estates, and HM Queen Elizabeth II opening the new town developments.

Other films in the collection include group visits and family outings to the South Coast of England at Littlehampton, Hastings and Eastbourne; as well as the ceremonies associated with laying foundation stones for local churches in Crawley.
