The Gowlland family film their move from their home 'Squerrys' in Croydon, Surrey to their new house 'Poyntington' in Westerham, Kent. The film shows furniture loaded into the removal van. At their new house, members of the family relax in the garden. A tree stump in the garden is filmed being removed. At Westerham station, a steam train waits to depart.
Scenes at a Biggin Hill air display in the 1960s. Red Arrows, biplanes, Red Devils and fighter aircraft participate in the show, filmed by Mr. Harrison, a member of the Brighton Cine Club.
This short film features maintenance work on the former Westerham branch line around the time of its closure. Volunteers (possibly members of the Westerham Valley Railway Association) work on restoring the steam engines and clearing the line of debris; there are a few shots of the rolling stock and railway buildings.

The children play in the garden with their parents and grandparents. On an outing to the Bluebell Railway the family board the steam train at Sheffield Park Station and ride to Horsted Keynes.
