A compilation of films beginning with a 1930s(?) Pathéscope production which features a motor vehicle journey through central London and a train journey from London to Brighton, filmed by the BBC in the early 1950s(?). The middle and end of the film feature places of interest in Sussex, again during the 1930s(?) and a coach holiday to Worthing in the early 1990s(?).

Film of the Gowlland family in the first year of Peace after the Second World War. In this film, the family go to a Gymnkana, and go on Holiday to Eastbourne, where they play on the beachat Eastbourne, and visit Alfrison and the surrounding Sussex Downs.
This incomplete documentary, with romantic commentary, features Chichester as its subject, but also looks at other aspects of Sussex and the South Downs in the introduction, such as The Long Man of Wilmington and Boxgrove Priory. Chichester and its cathedral forms the central feature of the documentary; the film ends abruptly as the narrator begins to introduce the interior of the cathedral.

This amateur film is shot in a variety of locations across southern England. The film records visits to towns, villages and rural areas including Canterbury, Pegwell Bay, Winchelsea, Brighton and Hastings and features the main attractions at each location, including Canterbury Cathedral, the Viking Ship Hugin and Brighton's Royal Pavilion.

South Downs Way
This amateur colour travelog-style documentary follows the route of the South Downs Way, accompanied by a voiceover providing historical narrative on the route and local history of the areas it passes through. Members of the public walk, horse ride and fly model aircraft on the landscape. This film was awarded the Sussex Film Festival 1978 Challenge Cup Winner and won a certificate in the 1978 SERIAC competition.
