Journey Home Stage Two: Durban to Cape Town

The film focuses on life aboard a cruise liner in 1968 named "The City of Port Elizabeth ". Scenes begin in the city of Durban as viewed from "The Bluff " in the west of the city above Durban Harbour, followed by scenes on a beach, the family watching a tribal demonstration, visiting a Zoo and [not included in online clip] an Aquarium; followed by scenes aboard ship.
Journey Home Stage Three: Cape Town to London
The final part of of the Puttock family travelogue aboard the cruise liner "The City of Port Elizabeth". This part shows the family visiting friends in Cape Town before leaving for Tilbury Docks through the bulge of Africa via Las Palmas, in the Canary Islands, and on to Dover. Shots show the family exploring a beach and harbour in Las Palmas, several ships in dock and at sea in the Mediterranean, eating food and playing games on ship. The ship enters Tilbury via the Thames Estuary passing the Maunsell Fort.
This family film opens with snowy scenes of the family home and garden in Chobham, Surrey, followed by scenes of the family on holiday in Cornwall, Dymchurch, Thurleston, Norfolk, West Bay and boarding a P&O ferry the SS Oriana, on route to Australia (?). This film is intertitled throughout and has an animated opening title.
The Road to Budva
A travelogue film of a family holiday to Montenegro (formerly SFR Yugoslavia), showing the coastal town of Budva and various other locations within the wider Budva and Cetinje municipalities. The film includes footage of the Palace at Milocer, Sveti Stefan, Kotor Fjord, Becici, Zanjice (Herceg Novi), and Cetinje (Monastry of St. Peter).
Mr K. M. Wood’s Visit to Bombay
Businessmen, including Kenneth Wood, travel to Mumbai and visit the Mulchandani Electrical and Radio Industries Ltd factory in November 1966. They are given guided tours around the factory by Mr RL Mulchandani and his sons. They are taken on a visit to a temple and are entertained with dancing in the evening. Indian music plays over the film.

This film shows a family boat trip from Ramsgate around the North Kent Coast, through central London to Richmond Pier on the River Thames.
[SS Australis; Balloons]
Film of entertainment and activities on board the SS Australis. Passengers are seen being thrown into a pool on deck. In the restaurant, passengers gather for the buffet. A group of young people blow up balloons and then pop them. Balloons are flown from the back of the ship. The Purser and the gift shop are seen along with scenes at night.
