The paddle steamer Waverley arrives at Whitstable in Kent. Crowds gather on the harbourside to greet the steamer as it arrives. The Sea Cadet band plays as passengers disembark and the steamer prepares for the next leg of its journey. Passengers board the steamer before it departs for Southend and London.

The group go on a day out to a park and feed the ducks. A family visit to Thorpe Park follows, along with the August bank holiday Balcombe Village fair and a family on a day out to Nymans Gardens, West Sussex.

This film was made by George Horrobin to record a family holiday to the Isle of Man. The film records the journey from Brighton by car and then by ferry, and many of the places that the family visited while on holiday.
This amateur colour comedy film with animated title, tells the story of a woman whose car has broken down on the side of the road, where several passers-by stop to assist and chaos ensues. The film has opening and closing titles with dubbed sound and sound effects throughout. This film was submitted by the society for the Albany film competition in 1986.
