[Rottingdean Windmill Reconstruction]
This intertitled amateur newsreel style film by FJ Williams, documents a series of local events in the seaside town of Rottingdean. The film shows stormy weather and a beached whale, the opening of the new Public Hall by the Mayor and Mayoress and the restoration of Rottingdean Windmill by several tradesman.

This film charts the building of a large detached house on Canterbury Road near Ashford, from the laying of its foundations to the nearing of its completion. All of the work done on the house is manual. The film also includes aerial shots of the plot and surrounding land.

This film features a Royal Naval Review at Spithead, Southampton to commemorate the coronation of King George VI. The Reed family view the display aboard a pleasure craft. The second part of the film provides scenes from the family's visit to Instow in Devon, that includes a trip to the beach and a working farm.
[Building of Yacht and Launch; Sailing]
This film opens with highlights of the building of a yacht at Camper & Nicholsons yard in Gosport, from running the lead keel, laying the frames to adding the outer cladding and deckboards. The yacht is then launched following a christening ceremony into the Solent. The film closes with wide shots of several 12-metre yachts sailing on the Solent.

This colour edited film follows the change of seasons in 1938 at Eric and Eileen Giles' family home in Ottershaw and his father's house 'Sunnymede' in Chobham. The first part shows the house, garden and family at Chobham. The second section is at the house in Ottershaw and shows the garden changing during the seasons.

This brief pre-war film shows an ARP recruitment sign in a window and brief shots of a man re-laying a cobbled street by hand. There are views of a rocky coastline, the Circus transporting animals, including elephants, along a country road, and views of the coast at Croyde Bay, Bideford Bay and Ilfracombe. [Norcon Works Pipe Construction]
This colour film demonstrates the processes of constructing a Norcon spun concrete pipe: machinery is used to press the concrete into the moulds and then move the pipes to a drying area so the moulds can be removed and the pipes allowed to harden.

Views of hundreds of concrete pipes stacked in the yard; a Rabier crane lifts large pipes onto a trailer, with views of several men at work and of the industrial sand works; several warehouses fill the view.
