Rose Cottage - Norfolk
This deteriorated colour experimental (?) Kodachrome film follows Geoffrey Corder on holiday with his fiance and family in Lowestoft and in Norfolk, at a picnic, visiting a farm and on a beach. Lowestoft's Claremont pier (?) is seen along with views of an English market town and of the family's holiday home 'Rose Cottage'.

The first part shows "7162 Miles Non-Stop Worlds' Long Distance Record by the Royal Air Force on Vickers Wellesley Aircraft Bristol Pegasus engines" (between Ismailia, Egypt to Darwin, Australia). The next part shows several squadrons flying Vickers aircraft including Welesley, Wellington and Spitfire, grounded and in aerial manoeuvres, and the Vickers-Armstrong factory with a fleet of Wellington aircraft under construction.

Further scenes show the eldest daughter riding, as the youngest girl plays on a mound of sand. The girls then play with two kittens, before cutting to exterior shots of Framlingham Castle in Suffolk.

The film shows tours of many locations in the South of England and visits to family and friends. Included are views of Rochester Castle, Allington Castle, Canterbury Cathedral, Dungeness, Ipswich, and various landmarks in London such as the Cenotaph and 10 Downing Street on Whitehall and Westminster Cathedral.
