This extended intertitled travelogue shows a group tour through the counties of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset visiting many noted landmarks that includes the Madron Wishing Well and Chapel, standing stones of the Mên-an-Tol, the coast at Lands End with the "First and Last House" and the Daily Mail sign; Exeter; St Ives; the town of Clovelly in Devon; the moorlands of Dartmoor and Exmoor; the seaside towns of Penzance, Dawlish, Plymouth and Newlyn.

This colour and black and white edited family film features the family home in Ottershaw between 1940 and 1942, a visit to Somerton in Somerset and Mr Giles in his Auxillary Fire Servce (AFS) uniform with Bugatti Fire Engine. The family are also seen playing with toys in the garden, ice skating on a frozen pond, at a sports day event and scenes of a rugby game at Allen House School.

This shows a crew making ready several Vickers Wellington Mk II aircraft from 104 Squadron at RAF Driffield (?), loading bombs and shells into the bays and moving armaments on low level trailers. The second film features RAF Fighter Command 501 Squadron equipped with Spitfire V aircraft leaving an airfield, in flight and mixed close ups of the squad on the ground next to a Spitfire V aircraft.
Film of members of the Ellis family on a caravanning holiday in Somerset. Amidst many shots capturing the Somerset landscape, two women and a boy are seen visiting the Roman baths in Bath, having lunch outside their caravan, visiting local towns, going to a farm and bathing in the sea.

The film-maker and his family are then seen out for a walk with their dogs. There follows footage of a trip to Bristol, beginning with a visit to S.S. Great Britain, with shots on board the then derelict vessel. A sign outside requests donations to help fund the restoration project.
