[Guinea Pig Club Reunions 1976 to 1978]
Film of the reunions of the Guinea Pig Club who's members had received reconstructive plastic surgery at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. The reunions held on 1976, 1977 and 1978 show the group, with their families chatting and drinking outside at the Bahama Bar in the Feldbridge Hotel. In a subsequent year the club meet at the Copthorne Hotel.
Another Year, Another Voyage
A travelogue film of another cruise from England to Poland, culminating in a visit to Warsaw. The film includes scenes aboard the Polish Ocean Lines ship TSS Stefan Batory, with brief stops in Rotterdam (?). The majority of the film shows views of Warsaw - the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier, Saski Gardens, the Old Town Market (Rynek Starego Miasta), the Royal Castle, City Walls and the group visiting friends. A protest film urging for the need to "change direction" with regards to nuclear weapons manufacture and nuclear power. The film, made for the International Peace Bureau by BECTU Peace & Environment Committee in the early 1990s, includes television and news footage of nuclear disasters, weapons manufacture, and mining for uranium.
