The Duke of Gloucester is filmed presenting new Colours to the 1st Battalion of the Royal Sussex Regiment. He is greeted by dignitaries upon arrival, inspects the troops, presents the new Colours and poses for photographs with the Battalion. The Battalion then marches through the streets of Chichester, taking the old Colours to St George's Chapel at Chichester Cathedral. They are watched by large crowds who line the streets.

This film shows cars parked on Bognor seafront and crowds of people gathered on the street to watch a motorcade (King's George V Royal visit - not seen) passing though. The spectators wave flags and white handkerchiefs, flooding the road once the motorcade has passed by.
A newsreel showing a rain-drenched parade representing local industries through the streets of Maidstone. The parade was organized as a hospital fundraiser. The online video includes an audio commentary by Dr Frank Gray at the start of the film.
Family scenes in summer 1930 and spring 1964

The first half of this amateur film was shot in 1930 in a town centre; a mother pushing a pram features, as well as a car rally and a visiting circus. In the countryside, gliders are seen in the air. The second half, filmed some 34 year later features children of the Mumford family at home and in the countryside playing in the snow; the family are also seen on a trip to Ashdown Forest (?).
