This film is a compilation of scenes filmed in connection with the Rochester-based manufacturing company Winget Ltd. Construction work features at the beginning of the film and is followed by shots of machinery in action; cranes, diggers, a hoist turntable, drills and a cement mixer.

This well-made amateur film with intertitles chronicles the River Medway, tracing it from its source at Turners Hill to its mouth at Sheerness, capturing the places and industries which line its banks.
In the Medway Valley
A lengthy amateur film with intertitles which charts the course of the River Medway from its source to Aylesford. In addition to filming the ever-changing size and speed of the river, the film-maker gives special attention to the mediaeval stone bridges which straddle it. The people, vessels and animals which populate the river are also filmed.
The film shows Harold Potter, the miller at Chegworth Watermill carrying out his daily duties. The mill is located on the River Len, a tributary of the River Medway. Mr Potter checks the stream and the sluice gates amongst other activities. The watermill is seen at work grinding corn. The original audio commentary accompanies the film.
