The New Civic Centre

As the building nears completion the old borough departments are transferred to the new building. Guests of honour are met by the mayor and officially open the new building.

Hove Town Hall Demolition
The remains of the 1882 Hove Town Hall the morning after a fire destroyed much of the building. Fireman dampen down the interior of the building which is still smouldering. Scaffolding is erected to begin the demolition. The destroyed Great Hall is filmed and workman use a crane to hoist the bells from the clock tower onto the back of a waiting lorry.
