This amateur film opens with shots of a visit to Sheffield Park Gardens near Haywards Heath; two women are seen wandering around the gardens and admiring the plants. The second part of the film features the Brighton Carnival and a procession of floats as it passes along Grand Avenue in Hove.
The Compleat Angler Fishing Club of Eastbourne, with help from the Sussex River Authority, use drag nets to bring out thousands of surplus Bream that have over populated a lake, filmed by Eddie Morris with commentary in the mid-1960s.
