At the hunt meet servants bring out trays of 'stirrup cups' for the huntsman, and the hunt sets off. Mrs Staley and daughter Pam are also seen with horses at the stables.

This compilation of home movie material with intertitles was filmed by doctors Thomas and Catherine Violet Burne whilst on leave from their medical posts in Malaya. The doctors film their children enjoying leisure time in England, on the beach, in the countryside and in the garden.
A cine club production of around 1929, part of the "Seeing London Series", which records scenes at Hampstead Heath during a fair. Visitors ride on swingboats, roundabouts and the Helter Skelter, and play carnival games. Views of carnival workers 'behind the scenes' and footage shot from a roundabout as it spins on its axis are also included.

Percy Nightingale films his young family playing in various gardens, including that of his Crawley home 'Nutmead'. Much of the film focuses on youngest son Edward John, starting with a shot of him as a newborn baby to images of him as a growing toddler.
Holiday to Switzerland and North Germany
Rudd family scenes filmed by Mr. and Mrs. Rudd while on holiday in Switzerland in 1929, edited and compiled with intertitles. The holidayers learn to ski, watch a luge race and a ski jump, and film from from a river boat in Germany.
Friends and family of Ruth and Moses Nightingale are entertained by a brass band (the West Crawly Silver Band?) in the garden of the family's Crawley home 'Hazeldene'. The immediate family gathers again on Boxing Day, performing to the camera in march-pasts, exiting and re-entering the house. The footage was shot by at least two members of the family.
This film shows scenes onboard a cruise ship, with men and women on deck, sitting together and stretching out on deck chairs. Panoramic views of the sea follow showing another cruise ship at sea, as captured from the deck. The group take a smaller motor boat excursion to the shore, later followed by a scenes of the group on land sitting on a bridge and capturing views of several street scenes, before returning to ship.
Days at Itchenor with the Kingfisher
Scenes of the Staley family sailing in the Chichester Harbour waters around Itchenor relaxing and having afternoon tea aboard the sailing boat Kingfisher among others, diving into and swimming in the water, and playing on the sands in the harbour. Several shots include reverse filming techniques of Ralph and Dr Robert appearing to dive into the water and back out, and playing leapfrog in reverse.
