[Butlin's Holiday in Clacton]
This film shows a Burns family holiday to the Butlin's Holiday club in Clacton, playing in a playground, on a miniature railway and on several fairground style rides. The children race model boats on a small pond, before making a visit to Clacton Beach to build sand castles. The film closes with shots of a large crowd gathered around the main swimming pool at the Butlin's Holiday club, to watch a swimming competition.

An amateur film showing a Burns family outing with the Royal Oak Darts club to Chessington Zoo, Surrey. The family board a green Southdown coach following a brief stop at the Southdown Buffet room, for drinks and ice cream. At the Zoo the family visit several of the animal enclosures, the playground area and ride on the Go-Karts. Scenes also show a Scottish marching band on parade and the Guinness Festival Clock (or Guinness Time Piece) in the park.

This short film shows a cross-channel trip from Dover to Calias. The film shows views taken on board the Royal Daffodil ferry, the local sights and landmarks of Calais (Hotel de Ville, Town hall and Tour du Guet tower). There are also scenes of the area around Dover; a visit to Deal Castle, Peter Pan's Playground and the South East coast of England.
