An amateur film capturing some of the 1968 Sussex Expo at the Ardingly Show. The film, which includes intertitles, shows a range of vehicles being exhibited, a military exercise, a parade by Sussex Police as well as hot air balloons and parachutists in the sky above the showground.
An exhibition of wax work effigies that comes to life when a thief attempts to steal a diamond from a costume, in this colour film produced by the North Downs Cinematography Society in the late 1960s.

The Herne Bay Newsreel 1969 
One of a series of newsreels featuring events in the town of Herne Bay in 1969 and 1970. The film includes coastal protection works, the Hospital Fete, the Archbishop of Canterbury at a Reculver ceremony, then in 1970 sailing, the Carnival, the destruction of the pier pavilion, a Fete, Road development, an exhibition and market, tennis, and shops.
[Michelham Priory Exhibition and Brighton Seafront]
Two films made by George Horrobin in the 1970s. The first contains scenes from a craft exhibition held at Michelham Priory, and the second shows the Palace Pier at Brighton and a regatta taking place on the beach between the two piers.

Billingshurst Horse Show
An amateur film recording the annual Billingshurst and West Grinstead horse shows. Heavy horses are paraded around a field and take part in a ploughing match. Other machinery is on display including a vintage fire engine, binding machine and a steam traction engine.
The Hot Air Show
This film records a visit to the Shuttleworth Collection (Historic Aeroplanes and Vehicles) and includes scenes of traffic queuing to enter the exhibition, shots of First World War aircraft in a hangar, and of a flying display of small aircraft, watched by crowds of onlookers. The film includes a brief shot of a hot air balloon in the shape of a Robertson's 'Golly' image.

Local residents are seen making the decorations for the town and exhibitions and demonstrations are arranged. Shots of locals taking part in the pageant and other celebrations. The film concludes with a toast to the Queen and the national anthem.
